Went From Being "Married" To "Single": hungry hungry hippos

As the title implies, I am changing my marital status from Married to Single. This blog is my observations, thoughts, and musings about the divorce and the changes it has (and is) making on my life. This is not a blog about blame but about thought and, to a certain extent, therapy.

You will see my ex-wife referred to as the MMC or Mother of My Children. There is a blog explaining this term (here: What to Call the Woman Who Is No Longer My Wife) but I felt maybe it was necessary to define the term here for new readers.

I know I'm not the first to go through a divorce and unfortunately, I won't be the last but I needed a place to vent and ponder. I'm just making that place public.
